It would seem impossible that someone could live a lifetime without making some bad choices. But God is love, which includes mercy, forgiveness, encouragement, and comfort. God’s love for you is not dependent on good or bad choices!
God may or may not answer prayers for assorted reasons. For instance, at times, someone might not realize that God wants to answer their prayer – but their request might conflict with the needed circumstances that He is laying out to receive many future blessings. Our Father is known to not just address our needs, but He is a loving God who considers our desires. Someone might think that they would never desire anything greater than what they are already dreaming of. But God knows the future. This includes knowing if someone will choose other desires as well, and God might be already guiding them through the necessary situations to receive them.
A tree, plant, and an animal, have natural habitats. A child of God’s natural habitat is the Holy Spirit of life! God’s love gives the promise of eternal life within a paradise of His Holy Spiritual Glory, an experience of Holy euphoria past any imagination!
Someone dreaming and creating their own Heaven without the Spirit, and getting exactly what they chose, would never be satisfied. A human is unable to stimulate their senses greater than their own limited realm. Any humanly created Heaven, and a void of the Holy sensations of the heightened, arousing, energizing, and enlivening everlasting Spirit of life and light, would have a terrible void and could not actually be defined as a Heaven.
Having no regrets includes to embrace that God is Almighty, love, AND that God is deserving of respect that He is Sovereign! ‘Everytime’ that someone is presented with a blessing from Jesus, they better take it right then and not deny it in favor of their own choices, as there can be multiple, dire consequences!
At times, God offers more chances, including with blessings. But at other times, there is only one chance! A child of God choosing to reject a blessing from Jesus and having regrets, knowing that they are without the ability to re-create the blessing – might have enlightenment as never before that God IS Sovereign! By denying a blessing from Jesus, someone can also realize that at that moment they also denied Jesus and the love of Jesus for them!
Someone praying, and reviewing a past bad choice against the will of the Spirit, might cringe, unable to bear their own presence by growing to recognize their personal losses, and the Glory not given to God! But God ‘is’ love, and God offers prayer, including for help. God’s Spirit of love, forgiveness, and power is greater than any mistake! The Holy Spirit is generous to overcome grieving with even beautiful sensations from the fruits of His Holy love, joy, and peace!
By grace, just as a gift, God chose to create and give us the remarkable gift of life! By mercy, just as a gift, God chose to restore our eternal life after we sinned, yielding us lasting purposes and fulfillment in Glory! God is clearly able to out-think humans, His power is Almighty, and He gives blessings with love past comprehension! This includes the blessing of ‘free will’ for the capacity of love and choices! Therefore, wisdom’s understanding reveals that it is okay to make choices, but to not make choices that conflict with God’s choices!
At times, past failures can lead to great successes. This includes by being driven to not have anymore regrets, and to humbly pray and conduct the exact will of the Spirit! Scripture reveals to take solace that Abraham, Sarah, Moses, Rahab, Elijah, David, Solomon, Peter, and Paul, all made some bad choices. Thereafter, from God’s choices and power, they had incredible end results past human capabilities!
God does not want robots. God ‘does’ offer ‘free will’ for the capacity of love and choices, and He encourages choices, but not choices that contradict His Holiness and infallible guidance. God’s Spirit and Word reveal the immensity of how to precisely address ‘all’ things, including to help even the smallest details of our lives. Discernment understands that it is better to choose prayer and God’s wisdom from His Spirit and Word, than to choose human thinking to address situations.
Wisdom’s understanding, trust, and gratitude reveals that when we ‘sense’ God’s living Spirit giving us a pull to do this or that, or to go here or there – to just do it!
In the way that someone chooses to sow by the Spirit, including in God’s timing, is the greatest possible way that they could reap. No one would have a justifiable complain if they chose to wait a long time to go by the guidance of the Spirit – and God allowed a perfect lesson for them to feel how it is to wait for a long time for something that they want. No one can change the past. But many times, the past can certainly lead to the fire and drive needed for many future successes through the power and loving kind mercy of Jesus!
Someone might initially think that if they do what the Spirit wants, they could be abandoning or letting someone down, they will miss someone – and or it can be daunting to leave familiarity and go into an unknown. But Jesus has all things factored. It is critical to respect God’s Sovereignty ‘at all times’. If someone is not obedient to the Spirit, God might allow them to feel the true end result of their choice – to learn a lesson to not do it again – as to deny the will of the Spirit, can include the noticable feeling of life being lesser.
You did not even exist. Therefore, you did not choose God! God chose you! You are a child of the most High, loved greatly by He who speaks Words and creates all things, Jesus! Jesus chose to create you to live with Him forever! Therefore, you are very special, cherished, sacred, and precious, giving Jesus great joy and Glory!
The presence of God’s Glory is not just in Heaven. The Holy Spirit of Glory is here with us right now! No one would opt for a lesser Heaven – even if that was possible. God’s love reveals to be without regrets, including to not opt for a lesser life by placing human choices over the guidance of God’s living and loving Holy Spirit and Word!
John 15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it to you.
Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons (children) of God.
Psalm 1:2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law does he meditate day and night.
1st Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing.
