Someone could easily lose sight of their overall identity. ‘An eternal child of Jesus’ might grow into relating their identity to such things as a job title, a trained skill or profession, an educational degree, an income bracket, accumulated wealth, a lifestyle, an appearance, a social level, a goal, an accomplishment, a success, a failure, being a victim, a relationship status, and someone ongoing thinking of themselves as ‘the sick’ or ‘afflicted’.
Sin causes a separation from God. There were two sinners on each side of Jesus on crosses, having two different ‘permanent’ identities. Their two completely different reactions to Jesus represented the only two possible ways that the entire human race could react to Jesus. Either someone repents their overall sins and embraces Jesus as their Lord and Savior – or they will not overcome the devil, sin, and death…and make it to Heaven!
If someone would not take a minute in life to pray and repent their overall sins and resign themselves to Jesus as their Lord and Savior – they would be hard-pressed to lead their loved ones to Heaven! A complete surrender to God is someone giving up their human pride, which is a heightened sense of self, a sin and a lie – to instead embrace truth – humbling themselves in deserving reverence and respect to God; that only He is Sovereign God and they are not!
Someone rejecting the repentance of sin and Jesus, but expecting to go to Heaven because they are a nice and good person – needs to gain understanding – that their pride cannot make up their own rules to equal the Holy sinless blood of Jesus! But praise Jesus; God’s loving mercy is greater than human pride! God’s mercy is so exceeding, that once someone makes a decision from the heart to say just ‘one’ ‘sincere’ prayer – to repent their overall sins and embrace Jesus for the truth of who He is, Lord and Savior – that this confession has a yield through God’s power – for a restored eternal
relationship with Jesus!
Love that is past all human comprehension – is Jesus on a cross, shedding His Holy sinless blood to pay the price for our sins against Him! Scripture reveals that there is only one way to Heaven; through Holy Jesus! Jesus and His primary message throughout God’s Bible – is not mocked! The message of ‘Jesus and the cross,’ addresses the most important issue in everyone’s brief lifetime – securing more life!
Do not allow the pride, mockery, and envy of the devil – who is referred to as, ‘the accuser,’ and his human associates – accuse and weigh on you to make you feel that you are condemned and not worthy to be called, ‘a child of Jesus!’ Reject the enemy and his human conspirators trying to degrade, find fault, and instill that Jesus came for everyone else, but not for you! Jesus ‘is’ love and He came FOR YOU – and Jesus has already defeated sin, the serpent, and death; FOR YOU!
Our Father in Heaven reveals to “rejoice evermore,” from the moment of coming to Jesus! Your sins, and anyone and anything of this world, are not greater than the Holy blood and mercy of Jesus Christ!
From God’s Holy power, love, blood, grace, and mercy – which are already offered – and someone’s decision to pray and ‘sincerely’ repent their overall sins and embrace Jesus as their Lord and Savior – is yield for their permanent identity to be: ‘an eternal child of the most High, JESUS CHRIST!’
Revelation 12:10-11 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for *the accuser* of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and did not love their life even when facing death. (Selfless gratitude to love and serve Jesus placed over their own life). Titus 1:2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began; 1st John 1:7-9 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from all sin. 8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be ‘saved’. Ephesians 2:8,9 For by grace are ye ‘saved’ through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast. Romans 8:10, 10:9,13 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 10:9 That if thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thine heart that God has raised him from the dead, thou shall be ‘saved’. 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be ‘saved’. – (Hanging on three crosses were two sinners; one saved, and one unsaved, and Jesus in the middle). Luke 23:39-43 And one of the malefactors (an unsaved sinner without faith and repentance) which were hanged railed on him, saying, *If* thou be Christ, save thyself and us. 40 But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Does not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation? 41 And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds (admitting sin and repenting): but this man (Jesus) has done nothing amiss. 42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comes into thy kingdom (faith). 43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shall thou be with me in paradise.
“Father; in the name of Jesus, I repent my overall sins. Please forgive me. I accept you Jesus as my Lord and Savior! Please guide me for the rest of the days of
my life to serve your deserving Glory! I praise you, Holy Jesus, to live with you in your Heaven forever! Amen.”
