For years, I knew of Jesus, but denied the repentance of sin and following Jesus, and when someone does that, they are acting as their own independent false god. But love’s mercy in Jesus is beyond human capacity to even understand and explain it! One day, I repented my overall sins and came to Jesus to follow Him, and Jesus forgave me – a contemptible sinner who had denied His will and deserving Glory!
When I think of the love of Jesus and some of His selfless heroic acts, including suffering His blood, all sins, and nailed and hanging on a cross, my heart and eyes are moved to tears! Why would Jesus do that!? We sinned against Jesus, and His response was to pay the price for our sins – for the purpose to give us eternal life and love us in His Heaven of Glory without end! How is love like that, possible!?
Jesus created me, Jesus saved me, Jesus healed me, and Jesus resurrects me for eternal life into the Kingdom of Heaven to be loved forever – just as a gift! Jesus has never forsaken me! Jesus is always with me! Jesus has never abandoned me! Jesus is my only hope! I don’t care what mockers think of me, I’m glad to say, Jesus is my hero!
Luke 23:2,32-34,39-43 But they cried, saying, Crucify him, crucify him. 32 And there were also two other, malefactors (sinners), led with him to be put to death. 33 And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left. 34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots. 39 And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If (without repentance and faith) thou be Christ, save thyself and us. 40 But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Does not thou fear God, seeing thou are in the same condemnation? 41 And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds (accountability and repentance): but this man has done nothing amiss. 42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord (faith), remember me when thou comes into thy kingdom. 43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shall thou be with me in paradise.
