The lessening of pride’s sense of self, and growth in selfless Christ-like love for God’s glory, is a Christian maturing in their created and blessed purpose. Jesus IS love, and Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and the Word, thresh and cleanse to love as in the manner of Christ.
Self-examination prayers never stop revealing more pride, to repent, and pray out of oneself with God’s power.
Seeking losses of pride’s self, can yield openness to Holy Spirit enlightenment to conduct selfless Christ-like love for eternally recorded purposes! Praying, allowing the Holy Spirit to reflect one’s own truths to righteous truth, can reveal who someone is in God’s view, for basis’ to grow to love as Christ.
God’s will, IS done, in Heaven’s euphoria of eternal love, Jesus Christ! Allowing Himself to be brutally torn apart, His Holy blood shed, Christ’s heart suffering from rejection and betrayal, nailed and hung on a cross in a drawn out agonizing death, Jesus Christ sacrificed self(!), to pay the price for our sins, selfless love passing understanding, to give eternal life and glory to God! The Word reveals: God’s children can ‘involuntarily’ learn why and how they should love as Jesus, on a possible long path of lessons, or ‘voluntarily’ seek, in Spirit and Word, to learn what is and what is not, Christ-like love, to love Jesus and others, as Jesus loves them!
1st John 4:19,11,16 We love him, because he first loved us. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwells in love dwells in God, and God in him.
Ephesians 4:16 From whom the whole body (Christ and His children) fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplies, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, makes increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
