Lasting hope is not in simply attending or joining the right church, or fellowshiping based on ‘human commonality or levels of Bible knowledge.’ Lasting hope cannot come from mankind, human relations going well, a great day, worldly successes, achievements, being popular, or in compromising. Lasting hope is in beginning and committing to an eternal relationship of love with Jesus Christ, the creator and sustainer of life!
Not repenting overall sin, in sincerity, causes a permanent separation from God, yielding no hope. Genesis to Revelation redundantly reveals: lasting hope only starts by beginning an eternal relationship with Holy Jesus; in a moment of time, a decision of the heart, to repent sin and faithfully devote to Jesus as one’s Lord and Savior!
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. 1st John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Psalm 39:7 And now, Lord, what wait I for? my hope is in thee. “Father, in the name of Jesus, I’m a sinner, I repent my sins, please forgive me. I embrace and accept you Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Amen.”
