God’s children are all sinners, having conducted insurmountable sins against God. Giving their own creator immensity of suffering from such actions and betrayals, God, who is love, reacted.
God did not abandon His children, but outdid their sins with more grace, showing mercy with a love greater than what is in human capacity to fully understand.
Everything that a child of God has, is from the unmerited favor that is God’s grace. This includes in the punishment that is merited for sin…but forgiveness instead…from mercy received! God’s own Son Jesus suffered the price for all of His children’s sins on a cross, God’s heart-moving mercy; simply to love His children forever!
